ULI San Diego/Tijuana is the preeminent land use organization in the San Diego region. As our region has evolved from a green field model to one that must rely on infill to accommodate a growing population, employment base, and the global economy, it is more important than ever to be thoughtful in creating sustainable land use decisions.

We are reaching out to local government agencies with our Technical Advisory Panels (TAPs) which help find solutions to pressing land use issues. We also work to engage our members involved in land use activities south of the border, in order to develop more effective ways to stay connected to our partners in Mexico.

To advise the Executive Committee in carrying out our mission, we have formed two special committees to provide guidance and leadership: The Sponsorship Advisory Committee includes one representative from each of our sponsors and the Executive Advisory Committee is composed primarily of full ULI members who are senior real estate/public sector executives in the region.

We also have several other working committees including: Smart Growth Awards, Real Estate Trends Conference, Public Policy, Community Outreach, Cross Border, Communications, Young Leaders, Membership Development and Sponsorship Development.
