Yudelson is an expert in the LEED green building rating system and is the author of nine books about green building.

Entry forms, which can be found on the ULI Website (ulisd.org), must be completed and returned by May 1. Applications will be judged by a panel of local planning, design and development professionals. This year the Smart Growth Awards has an open nomination process allowing anyone to nominate a project, person or program regardless of their involvement. Categories include Smart Growth Project, Smart Growth Plan/Policy and Smart Growth Visionary. Projects or programs that do not fit into the three specified categories may be submitted under the Other category.
